Hi! As the oldest of 7 kids, taking care of multiples (and individuals) of all ages is not only innate, it is also a passion! I am silly and fun while being great with discipline, structure, and routine. I have worked professionally as a full-time nanny for babies to middle schoolers, and have also done elder-care. Post-college, I worked in youth development with highschoolers in the Dominican Republic, counseled at camps, and ran weekly programming. I have a BA in Sociology from North Park University, and am finishing my Master’s in Non-profit Management, also from North Park. I am bilingual (English and Spanish), have worked as a teacher, home-school helper, class-room assistant, and ESL helper in a variety of settings in different countries. I have experience working with kids who have experienced trauma, foster kids, and children with learning challenges and ADHD/ADD. I love investing my life in children, which is why I am posting here—my day job is mostly with incoming college students and phone and email, and I need some fun time! I am happily married and live in Albany Park, eat from an urban farm and ride my bike everywhere.
