I have been an 8th grade science teacher for the last four years. I was in Phoenix, AZ the first year and Lawrence, MA for the last three years. I love working with kids, supporting them as they learn and grow. I believe in a structured classroom environment with clear expectations, rules and routines. Creating an organized setting establishes trust between teacher and students, thereby allowing students more opportunities to take on responsibilities. This empowers students and drives my inquiry-based learning approach, which I have designed in order to integrate today’s science with Massachusetts State Standards and the Common Core.
