In my background, I have childcare experience for 5 years, as well as tutoring experience with young school age children for 4 years. Also, I have some state training in the health and safety of children. I enjoy the company of children and help them to develop learning skills in reading, math, writing, exploring the environment together.

Also, I keep children busy with a variety of music that we can move and exercise to. Art is also includedin my curriculum, coloring and drawing keeps their imagination flowing. For the toddlers, I encourage
reading and library visits are frequent. Meals are nutritional and carefully planned according to the parent’s request. Good manners are encouraged and vocabulary building along with speech is highly encouraged when children are in my care.

Currently, I attend an Early Education program at Brooklyn College where my major area of study isEarly Childhood Education. These skills make me valuable in that I am prepared and trained in vital
areas of communication and interaction of children, child psychology, disabilities and fully understand the importance of proper and the fundamental skills children require in their early development.

I look forward to working with children throughout my years and offering them an opportunity to learn and explore their world with games, puzzles, coloring, art, dance, reading and many variety of activities.
