Hello, I am Leah Jackson I am 19 years old and am very interested in being your Caregiver. I have 5-6 years experience as a babysitter. I believe that Children at different developmental stages have varied needs. I am well versed in managing their cognitive, physical and psychosocial demands and devising age specific complementing activities. Paying equal amount of attention to both children is the key. I also divide up the time strategically so that one of the two is on an independent task at all times. I love babies and the peace they bring, I am very gentle and warming. I was also an after school sitter for my siblings and cousins my mother and aunts children ranging from pre-school through the 6th grade. I am also a tutor so I can help with homework. In high school I took Early Childhood Education classes so I’m familiar with both CPR and First Aid. I mentored younger students 11th-12th grade for community service hours and received awards for my exceptional character At William Penn Senior High. I love children and my compassionate nature and friendly personality makes me get along with them in no time. I am able to keep children happy and this quality makes me happy too. I enjoy developing kids, both emotionally and physically, which is the main reason why I want this job. Its fun to manage and grow-up children. I Am currently enrolled in Hacc Area Community College taking up Communicatons. I have my own car and a clean driving record, so picking up and dropping off is no problem. I am very loving, patient, outgoing, most importantly responsible and love finding and doing activities that children will find entertaining. My goal is to make sure your child is comfortable and safe and learns something new everyday! Babysitting is something I love doing because I plan to further my career and everyday is different and new and it s amazing being part of a child learning and growing as a person. My belief is that before a person should enter the teaching profession they must first have a love of learning and be willing to share this passion. I need to truly enjoy working with a particular age group of children. I must possess a core set of beliefs that all children deserve respect and a chance to have a better life through the gift of learning. I must furthermore understand that is the responsibility I chose to be a child advocate. So experience is something I enjoy and love, to be able to see and learn different things about kids everyday is an honor
