Growing up in a large family, I have always been the one who watches the little ones. Whether that is babysitting one teeny tiny cousin or taking another 12 year old cousin to the park to play, I have a lot of experience being around kids and taking care of them. All throughout high school I babysat on the weekends. My favorite family was a family of four children all between ages 3 and 9. (Needless to say, we always had a fun time together!) In college I studied both Dance and English. I was the go-to babysitter for the graduate students with children — and we danced around, went on adventures, ate ice cream, and got our fill of Thomas the Train. In addition to my babysitting experiences, I’ve also taught dance classes and creative movement classes to children since I was in high school. I have much experience with creative movement activities, understanding their varying energy levels, and an overall fasciation with their young curiosities.
