My name is Azra Sabovic and I am 21 years old.
My family is big, with new babies always coming. To me, that’s a big joy but also huge responsibility.
Everyone in my family knows if they need a babysitter, they have me on their mind.
I had a joy to take care of someone outside my family. His name was Jake and he was a special needs child. When I first met him, I was nervous, worrying if he’d like me and his parents. I’ll never forget how those blue eyes were looking at me with that big smile. He gave me his big yellow plush doggie, and that was the moment we connected. His mother could not believe because he never gave anyone that toy to play with. Over the days, in the beginning, it was challenging of course. But after a while it was so natural to me. His joy for play and life, his little sounds when he wants to go for a walk, or when he is hungry grew to me. His parents were beyond grateful that I didn’t look at my job as a way to earn some extra cash, they saw that I actually cared for his well being and happiness.
I loved the way we interacted, kept him safe, and at the same time I tried to be a role model.
I’m very punctual, energetic, have experience with cooking, playing, taking care of them.
