Aurora I.

Hello, my name is Aurora Istrefi and Im currently en route to being a future dentist! Ive changed my mind between childhood education and dentistry far too many times just because I have so much experience with children that its always been something I would have loved to pursue career wise. My experience in childcare began pretty young when I started taking care of my baby sister while my mother worked late shifts. Soon after I landed a job as an after school counselor primarily taking care of preschool children all the way up to the big tough 8th graders :) I connected very well with the children and planned activities according to their ages respectfully. If the weather was nice out I preferred keeping the kids outside and keeping them active with fun games or crafts. I jotted down plenty of ideas to keep the children entertained even when I was off the clock at home relaxing. Back in high school I was actually captain of my dance team so in my free time I usually love signing myself up for dance classes in my area to keep myself active. In addition to that, I also enjoy learning from my incredible mother in the kitchen who really knows how to cook up the most delicious Albanian dishes!
