I initially started out as a caregiver for a 6-month-old baby girl until she was 6. In between that time we welcomed a new addition to the family when the oldest was 4. I am still in consistent touch with the family! I have worked at three day cares with children of age ranges from infants to 4-year-old’s. My mother is a foster parent and while living with her I have been fortunate enough to come in contact with many types of children. It has been such a gratifying experience to be able to experience a home with these individuals and see them grow. My two youngest sisters both have learning disabilities (Austism, ADHD, ADD, PDD, and ODD) and has helped me to become more experienced in aiding in their development. I have also worked with a special needs family. Both boys, 6 and 9, with Down Syndrome and both still in diapers. My last live in position, I cared not only for the two children, 5 months and 2 years old, but also their father whom had ALS. My experiences with children of all ages is outstanding. I genuinely believe that helping families with their day to day lives and impacting children is a successful and fulfilling job. I enjoy impacting children lives and aiding in their development to be contributing members of society! I am Certified in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED.
