Hey everyone! My name is Sonia-Ivette, but you can call me Sonia for short. I am a paraprofessional working at PS 811M in the Upper West Side. Right now, I am working with IEP students at the middle school level, but I also have experience working with pre-k through 8th grade general ed students. I have been working with students for the past 7 years including after school, success mentor-ship, and being a teaching assistant. I also have experience with 1:1 tutoring at the elementary/middle school level. My three year plan is to enter a fellowship program that will help fast track me into teaching Full Time.
