I have been a caregiver for the last thirteen years. For the first nine years, I worked full-time for a family with two children whom I had from babies. The next four years I also worked full time for another family with two children. As a babysitter it is job to provide a safe and healthy environment for the child entrusted in my care. My duties included general child care ( play dates, helping kids with their homework, making dinner, doing the children’s laundry. I also read, sing, and play with them while educating them in the process. I am a strong believer in communication with parents on a daily basis about their child’s growth, development and achievements. I believe in positive reinforcement and motivation to strengthen a child’s learning ability.
