I was raised in a very big family. I am the youngest of 10 children. I am a aunt to twelve wonderful nieces and nephews. I have been babysitting for as long as I’ve been able to take care of myself. I have worked in a couple after school mentoring programs as a tutor for young children. I absolutely adore kids and their innocent and unique expression to life. I love teaching kids new things and helping them build into positive young adults. I have raised my nephew since he was two months old, a lot to handle since I was only 16 at the time, but five years later he has grown up to be the smartest and most loving little boy. I’d like the opportunity to not only babysit children, but to mentor and tutor them; either school related and/or about life. I do not charge extra for the tutoring, I feel if im taking care of your child, making sure they are understanding their homework is a part of that. I love to see children progress and prosper. As a nanny you are responsible for a child when their parents are not around, so you have to be just as much of a positive impact to them.
