During high school, I was required to provide community service and I chose to work at a day care center. That decision ignited my passion for working with children. I am interested in early childhood development and care. I believe that it is important for a child to have a firm foundation in order to excel. If I have the opportunity to help children start the construction of an outstanding future, then my goal in life has been accomplished. Currently, I am employed to a wonderful organization named DFOY, or Directions For Our Youth. At Dfoy I am a lead instructor. My participants fueled my greatest work. We raised a little over $400 for the Blue Voice Organization and we will present our project at the 2015 STEM fair at teachers college of Columbia University. I am NYS Teachers Assistant Certified and CPR certified. I love working with Children and keeping them entertained.
