My name is Daron Brown, I currently work for the Department of Education in a district 75 school that’s for autistic kids. I love taking the responsibility for watching kids, I have been doing for baby sitting for quite sometime, and I love every minute of it. I am an out going person, I love to stay active with the kids because in this new day and age a lot of kids only know about a tablet. I believe that giving children those outside experiences whether it be going to a museum for the day, going to the park just to be active, going to the zoo and learning about animals, going to science centers, and just teaching them every day life situations. iPads, and tablets aren’t bad but when a kid starts being dependent on that lifestyle it is hard to break them out of it. When I was growing up I had a computer a gaming system but my parents always made sure that I went out and was active and not just at home stagnant on a game or the computer. I am also very patient, I think have patience is one of the most important trait to have when watching children. Patience help build long lasting relationships and it also builds trust. Responsibility is very essential as well, you have be very aware of your surroundings when you are out with children, and you always have to build a rapport with the children so when you are out in public everything can go smoothly. I also love to cook, I think I am a chef, I learned to cook at a very young age and I think it’s important to teach kids how to cook young.
