Hi! I’m Afriany and I have been babysitting since I was around 10 years old. I have three younger siblings that I cared for growing up, along with babysitting for neighbors and other family relatives. Professionally, I have worked as an ABA therapist for the past year providing direct 1:1 therapy to children with autism both in-home and at a center. I have previously worked at a summer camp where I’ve led activities and supervised over 15 children at once between the ages of 3-12. I also have experience with infants, mostly through family members, making me comfortable with diaper changes, feeding, along with other duties related to infant care. I am able to prepare meals, do light housekeeping, assist with homework, ensure children are engaged in activities (such as craft making, functional and pretend-play, etc.) and provide a fun yet safe environment for children overall.
