Hi! My name is Maddie! I am a current sophomore at Wheelock College in Boston. I am studying Visual Arts and in the application process for the Child Life and Family Care Duel Degree program (to become a certified Child Life Specialist, someone who works in hospitals with inpatient children focusing on play therapy and social emotional needs). I love fine arts as well as arts and crafts. I also enjoy dancing and being outdoors. Working with children is my passion and I strive to be the best role model possible.

I have worked on staff at Camp Aldersgate in RI for three summers working with children 6-16, but specialized with working with 6-8 year old. I am also on my second year of being a Jumpstart Corps member (an Americorps program) working 3 days a week in a preschool (2-4 year old children) enhancing literacy awareness and skills. In high school, I volunteered at my church in the nursery and taught Sunday school. I also babysat for a number of families in my home town for various aged children.

I am first aid and CPR certified.
