Hi, my name is Jillayne and I just finished my third year at Simmons College. I have been babysitting for as long as I can remember, at least 6 years paid experience, as well as helping with church preschool and kindergarten classes. Most of my experience is with young children, and I am very comfortable with toddlers. I usually care for one to three children, but will accept the adventure of more!

I am certified in First Aid and CPR (including infant) through the American Heart Association, valid through 2016. I have had background and CORI checks, to work with preschool, as well as drug testing for other positions. I recently started a job at a health insurance agency, and passed an extensive background check before I was hired.

One of my first regular jobs was caring for my neighbors with four children with many pets, and after that I’m ready for anything! I have also been a tutor and love helping kids succeed with their homework, doing crafts or getting them outside to play. I enjoy building relationships with clients; at my home away from college I regularly babysat for an adorable girl since she was 18 months (now she’s almost 6) and for the past three years two little girls now 5 and 7. These mothers are my references.

As a college student in Boston I do not have a car but I am an licensed driver with a clean record, and I am comfortable with public transit and biking to jobs provided that it is not too late at night.
