Ever since I began babysitting my own siblings at the age of fourteen, I knew that I loved to take care of children. While my mom was away at work, I would always want to make sure my siblings werent bored or sad because my mom was away, so I would make sure the day was full of fun. Since then, I continue to have the same energy with children and so I love coming up with activities for when I babysit. Besides my siblings, I have taken care of kids between the ages of 2 – 14. For these jobs, I was usually in charge of feeding , bathing , putting kids to bed, or simply entertaining them with toys or trips to a nearby park. In addition to my babysitting experience, I also have 4 years of teaching CCD at my parish under my belt. I taught kindergarteners and older grades such as 2nd, 5th, and 8th. My main focus for the younger grades was to engage them in class and so I incorporated videos, songs, and crafts. Likewise, I could assist kids with their homework in school and make it so that they are excited to get work done and understand it.
