Mike Richards (or Coach Rich as many of his players like to call him) is a unique and gifted person who lives out the following core values in his personal and professional life: Honesty, Integrity, Communicator, Encourager, Visionary, and Developer of people. As a result, the people he leads and the players he works with are greatly and positively impacted for the long haul. Practically, this can be seen in his role as an varisty assistant boys basketball coach over the last 7+ years. In today’s changing youth basketball environment, Mike is committed to teaching attitude, fundamentals, and effort. His goal is to not only provide his players with the best possible basketball experience, but for them to walk away impacted by his value-driven coaching style.
