Hello! My name is Asada, and I am a college sophomore studying Neuroscience and Cell Biology. I love watching movies, crocheting, arts and crafts, playing games, and cracking jokes. Each of these hobbies of mine has been given a gold star by young individuals we call children. I have always had a passion for working with children and have been babysitting for several years, where I honed my skills in child safety, development, behavior management, and fostering a safe and nurturing environment for kids of all ages. I created and implemented age-appropriate daily objectives, encouraged social and emotional development, and maintained open communication with parents to ensure their children’s well-being. I’ve worked at multiple summer camps with all age ranges, such as the YMCA. I’ve worked as a tutor at Kumon and a swim instructor at the Goldfish Swim School. When I wasn’t running PCR tests working in a lab, I cared for children. I love working with children because I like the opportunity to be a mentor and guide them. Working at summer camps instilled in me the proper way to balance fun and safety so that everyone, including myself, could have an enjoyable time. I believe in the importance of fun and creativity in a child’s life. I enjoy organizing engaging activities that stimulate imagination, curiosity, and a love for learning. You can count on me to be punctual, responsible, and dependable. I understand the importance of consistency and routine in a child’s life. I will be there to lend a hand, assist you, and lighten your loads.
