Hi! My name is Shanel Reid and I have been babysitting for about 5 years now, not counting family. I am from Austin,TX, but currently going to college here in dallas. I have always loved taking care of kids as my little brother is 8 and my two little cousins being 11 and 7, I have taken care of them ever since they were little and learned that I really do like building connections with kids and being a mentor in way. I played college basketball at SMU here in dallas which I think has built a lot of my skills that applies to a wide variety of things, like time management, discipline, holding myself accountable, having to work well with other people, etc, and I like to apply every skill I have with watching the younger kids in my family as well just to give the family and kid the best experience they can have. If your kid is athletic and you want them to get outside more I would love to help with that, or even if your kid just wants to stay inside and do art or watch tv I would also love that!
