Hello! My name is Alyssa. I’m originally from Albany, NY. As of the end of May I will be residing in South Boston while going to grad school. I am a very energetic, fun, outgoing person. I currently babysit for a family here in Newport but would love to help out a family here and there when it fits into my schedule! I am very reliable, so if you needed me in short notice, I will try my best to make it work.
I have been babysitting since the age of 14. I have a very large family so I have a lot of experience with all ages. Also, the family I sit for has three children so I can handle many children at once, and I have been with them for the past year and a half. I sitted for a five year old girl for the entire summer of 2012 and it was great!Also, for the two summers I volunteered at the local school in my hometown. I worked with special needs children. Last summer, back at home I babysat for a lovely girl with down-syndrome. This was probably one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever been apart of. It has taught me to have a lot of patience. Also, it helped me adjust to various types of children and their individual needs. I enjoy doing activities such as arts and crafts, games, reading, outdoor activities, and sports with the children. I am very neat also so if you ever needed help around the house I would love too!
