Background: Hello there! My name’s Hannah, and I’m a 26-year-old professional in the Boston area. I have a B.A. in Psychology and am very active in the local nonprofit sector. I am taking some time to consider graduate programs for next year and am eager to make myself useful in the meantime.

Experience: I’ve babysat for colleagues and family friends. I have volunteered as a counselor at a preschoolers’ summer camp and a chaperone for children with hearing loss at a biennial conference. In addition, I co-founded and led a program for children aged 5-12 at Boston Children’s Hospital Waltham. I balance the child’s need for fun and intellectual stimulation with the parents’ needs and house rules.

I am comfortable babysitting children who are preschool-age or older, and I am equally at ease playing with dolls and talking about Star Wars — whatever floats your kid’s boat! I believe in the importance of reading and enjoying nature when possible. I enjoy cooking healthy meals and am happy to do light housework. And if you have pets, it’s not a problem — I love animals.
