I am a mature compassionate person who has raised 3 children and has 2 grandchildren. My career has been in music (performing and teaching) and since that has been curtailed by Covid, I decided to pursue my next love: caring for children. I enjoy interacting with young children because their personalities are so honest and uncomplicated. I love helping them master a concept whether it is learning colors or counting to maybe learning how to read music; it’s all part of their development and it’s a joy to be a part of it. I remember how challenging it was to find quality child care, the times spent worrying about finding just the right person, and I would like to help. I have experience with infants from being a mother and have taught preschool and school aged children private and group violin lessons. I am kind, caring, and silly, but firm when necessary. I have my clearances and am CPR and First Aide certified.
